WebStrike Up the Band is an arrangement that has 'Tommy Tycho' written all over it. Here, he takes the main musical idea and expands it and develops it through a theme and variations style. Not only do we hear 'Strike Up the Band' as we know it, but also as a waltz, a fanfare and a slow lyrical section, as well as the high energy up tempo section. WebTycho became a full band in 2010, and beginning with the 2011 full-length Dive, the group's music became more focused and organic, incorporating a greater presence of guitar melodies and playing out like complete electronic dream pop songs rather than vignettes or extended mood pieces.
